The Indian-American pop artist, songwriter, producer, and dancer first fell in love with music in her mother’s home studio, where she learned classical Indian, Bollywood, and belly dance from a young age. Exposure to global music is a main source of inspiration for Rhea, who infuses pop with sounds drawn from her diverse background.

At 15 years old, Rhea auditioned for American Idol. Her performance aired and the digital praise led to her YouTube covers featuring on MTV, Glamour Magazine, and being shared by artists like Bebe Rexha and The Chainsmokers. She spent the next couple years toplining major label EDM records on over 40 releases with DJs and producers around the world.

After signing her first publishing deal, Rhea was named the 2020 Songwriters Hall of Fame x BMI award recipient. The following year, her single “Venom” debuted on Rolling Stone and Paper Magazine, playing heavily on BBC Radio 1. Streaming services have been buzzing too with Spotify recently making Rhea the cover artist of their ‘Created by Women’ playlist for “Devil In a Dress” and featuring her on multiple New Music Friday playlists. Amazon Music named her the headline of their 2022 AAPI festival at LA’s Grammy Museum, the same week she graduated from NYU. Rhea is also a trailblazer in the web3 space, launching a first-of-its kind music NFT with World of Women. Rhea’s latest single “Outside” produced by Lunchmoney Lewis, is out now and going viral on Tiktok as the next international hot-girl anthem.
