About Kilo Kish

Kilo Kish is the solo music project of Kish Robinson (full name Lakisha Kimberly Robinson), an American artist, musician, writer, and director from Orlando, Florida. Her musical and artistic projects often focus on themes of personal identity, societal constructs, surveillance, and alternative futures.

Kish began making music as a design student in New York City, where her first EP, Homeschool, took off in 2012. Since then, Kish has worked conceptually, diving into various genres and themes through her music projects. She’s collaborated with Gorillaz, The Internet, Vince Staples, Childish Gambino and Chet Faker, among others.

She also exhibited her own works as a performance artist, filmmaker, and installation artist with two solo shows at HVW8 in Los Angeles, California. Additionally, her film work has screened at the Getty Center, The Hammer Museum, and The Museum of Image and Sound in Brazil.
