LONER

LONER is the debut EP by the Chicago rapper, JUMEX. The project comes with seven songs in total with no guest appearances, giving JUMEX all the room he needs to show off his versatility as an artist.

3 hours before the EP released, JUMEX released the music video for “ALIVE IN MY COFFIN” to his YouTube channel.

On the day of release, JUMEX posted a lengthy post on his Instagram talking about his beginnings and how the EP came to be. He said:

They reached out & said they wanted to meet. So they flew to Chicago & met me at the courthouse for my weed charge. I ended up going to LA after I turned 18 on Feb 14 and we went to work at the studio 7 days a week for 6 months straight. I recorded over 300 demos & by September of 2018 I had the songs selected for the Loner ep. These were the songs I felt represented my life at the time.

The EP features three promotion singles, “LONER,” “TRAPPED,” and “WISH ME DEATH.”
