Tropical

Tropical is Jme’s fourth EP—all of its tracks are purely instrumental, with Jme collaborating with Plastician and Skepta for the final track, “Machines”.

Tropical Grime is a subgenre of grime, leaning more towards UK Garage to give it a “tropical”, summery vibe. The subgenre was created to give grime a more dance friendly vibe to it than most other grime music at the time.

All songs on this EP were also apart of the much longer pioneering Boy Better Know release, Boy Better Know Edition 4: Tropical, both of which dropped in 2006.
