Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend

Fall Out Boy

About “Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend”

While not Fall Out Boy’s official debut album, rather a “mini-LP”, Fall Out Boy’s Evening Out With Your Girlfriend was the band’s first collection of music, and the only album to feature Mike Pareskuwicz on drums and T.J. Kunasch on rhythm guitar (Kunasch was still credited despite not appearing on the record). It features three songs initially from their split EP with Project Rocket. “Calm Before The Storm” was re-recorded and featured on the band’s official debut, Take This To Your Grave.

Evening Out With Your Girlfriend was recorded in two days between February and September of 2002, and was released through Uprising Records on March 25, 2003 against the band’s wishes. Unsatisfied with the project due to the rushed schedule, Fall Out Boy refuses to call it their debut.
Upon the release of From Under The Cork Tree, Uprising Records released a 2005 remastered reissue without Fall Out Boy’s involvement, and they have not received royalties for either versions.
