“Melodic Chaotic” is a duo created by Willow and Daniel D'artiste in 2013. They released two songs under Melodic Chaotic, although worked on other projects together after that.
I was working on this beat in the studio one day and Willow walked in. She told me to turn the mic on because she wanted to sing over it (…) It sounded so good that she said to me “We should be a duo, like we should do this as a team”. I loved the idea and we began trying to think of a group name while we were playing her vocals back. At one point in the song she said “Melodic chaotic times” and when I heard that, I knew. I said “That’s it! Melodic Chaotic. You’re melodic with your vocals, and I’m chaotic with my beats. It’s perfect” And so, Melodic Chaotic was born.
