German rapper GARP, better known as “German Anime Rap” is a part of the new rap wave. His untypical way of singing makes him look very unique and the powerful voice could convince a lot of listeners so far. His style is not limited to hip-hop, but up to now he could often impress with an RnB / Rock / Pop sound. The combination of low and high singing passages makes his sound very dynamic and new. His speciality are the earworm producing hooks.

Born and raised in Dortmund, in the late 90s, GARP began recording, mixing and producing his music in a small room from a young age. During his studies of psychology and mathematics at the “Dortmund University of Technology” he started uploading Anime songs on YouTube and collaborated with a lot of acts from the scene. AyeSam, OPFuture and Animetrix are often a part of his music and together they dominate the actual german anime rap scene.
